In fact, most plants on the globe can realize their life histories thanks to obligatory, symbiotic (mutually beneficial) interactions occurring in the root zone. Without them, life would not be possible. A great many publications and books have been written about these processes and interactions, which we encourage you to read. In our material, we will only briefly mention that soil-inhabiting organisms can be roughly divided into three groups: mycorrhizal fungi (that is, fungi that enter into close symbiotic interactions with plants, overgrowing or growing into the root, here we distinguish primarily endomycorrhiza, ectomycorrhiza and mycorrhiza of heaths), non-mycorrhizal fungi of the genus Trichoderma<\/em> and soil bacteria. Each of these groups should be found in a healthy and well-functioning substrate in adequate numbers. <\/p>\n\n

Unfortunately, but the peat or coconut substrate used in plant production has its good and bad sides. When properly structured and partially sterile, they are very poor in \n microorganisms beneficial<\/strong>\n<\/a> for plants. The solution to this problem is the use of inoculants (inoculants), whether in granular form to be admixed into the substrate or in liquid form to be watered or soaked into the seedling, which we highly encourage.
