Coconut Mats Cocopak

Ceres Kokopak coconut mats that we prepare for soilless vegetable growing contain only the highest quality coconut fiber. Coconut fiber, which is used in the production of Ceres Kokopak mats, undergoes a rigorous purification process – rinsing and buffering, so it has a very low salinity and a high degree of purification. Our proprietary cleaning and buffering system for coconut fiber ensures repeatability of parameters in each batch. In addition, each batch of mats comes with a so-called. passport, which collects all the basic chemical parameters of the substrate, such as EC, pH, and macro and micronutrient content. Ceres Kokopak coconut mats are completely prepared for cultivation and do not require any additional steps other than soaking with starter medium.

We treat each order individually and select during the consultation the best composition of coconut substrate, which can be composed of different fractions of coke fiber, as well as other components such as agroperlite or coconut chips. Thanks to the filling of the highest quality coconut fiber, which has very good capillary properties, our mats do not require perfect leveling of the substrate, and what’s more, despite the unevenness of the substrate on which they can be laid, they perfectly distribute moisture both upwards and across the mat. We can prepare our mats with drainage holes on the underside of the mat, and we can also prepare perforations for seedling cubes and perforated holes for drippers. Ceres Kokopak coconut mats come in several standard widths.
