Agrotextiles

Agro-textiles are used to protect plants from harmful weather elements. They are made of polypropylene but unlike polypropylene fabrics they are a non-woven (non-voven) material. They are also used as mulching material.

Agrotextiles are divided into three groups:
?spring ? used to accelerate growth and protect plants from early spring frosts
?autumn-winter ? used as protection of plants from frost and wind, especially in the absence of snow cover
?mulching ? used to protect plantations from weed growth

SPRING AGRO-TEXTILES

These are white nonwoven fabrics of 17 to 22 g/m2, mainly used to protect seeded or planted plants from adverse weather conditions. They are glued with a special method that guarantees the durability and strength of the joint. Above 4.8 meters in width, the agro-textiles have additional side reinforcements on both sides to protect against mechanical damage.

This material provides a barrier that limits temperature fluctuations between night and day, moreover, it raises the temperature under its surface, so it can influence the acceleration of vegetation and, consequently, the harvest. It protects plants from damage caused by animals, and also reduces excessive sunlight and protects plants from burns. Protects sown seeds from being washed away during periods of heavy rainfall. Chroni wysiane nasiona przed wypłukaniem w okresach intensywnych opadów deszczu.

Widths of agro-textiles: from 1.6 m to 16 m.

AUTUMN AND WINTER AGRO-TEXTILES

White nonwoven fabrics, with a weight of 22 to 50 g/m2, are used to protect plants overwintering in the ground or on container houses, as well as to protect plants in unheated plastic tunnels. They protect plants from frigid winds and damaging cold temperatures, as well as offset excessive water loss. Our nonwoven fabrics are glued with a special method that guarantees the durability of the bond and strength. Above 4.8 meters wide, the agro-textiles have additional side reinforcements on both sides to protect the nonwoven fabric from mechanical damage.

These products are mainly recommended for protecting plants sensitive to low temperatures, among others. roses, vines, magnolias, strawberries, onions and leeks, including sensitive ornamental plants. Protects sown seeds from being washed away during periods of heavy rainfall.

Agrowoven fabric widths: from 1.6 m to 16 m., depending on the weight.

MULCHING AGRO-TEXTILES

This is a group of agro-textiles used to cover the soil before planting crops, mainly to control weeds. This includes mainly nonwoven fabrics with a weight of 50 g/m2, although nonwoven fabrics with both lower and higher weights are possible, prepared to order according to your needs and expectations. By limiting the growth of weeds, the amount of herbicides used can be reduced to a minimum, reducing production costs, time, as well as having a positive impact on the environment.

The nonwoven fabric forms a kind of barrier that allows water and air to pass through, while reducing evaporation of water from the soil, optimizing water availability for plants, as well as reducing soil erosion caused by the effects of heavy rain and wind. In spring, it is beneficial to raise the temperature of the substrate under the non-woven fabric, which results in accelerated vegetation, it also increases the quality of plants and fruits, which are healthier and free of contaminants.
Protects sown seeds from being washed away during periods of heavy rainfall.
They are recommended for the establishment of berry plantations (e.g. strawberry, highbush blueberry, huckleberry) as well as for mulching in vegetable crops and urban green areas.

The widths of the agrofiber: from 1.6 m and up to 3.2 m. Other non-standard widths are possible upon request.
