The Urbinati MC1120 mixer allows easy application of the substrate, thanks to a sliding door system. In addition, thanks to a special opening, the mixer can be combined with a big log shredder. The perfectly designed auger rotor with a double stainless steel reinforced spiral, provides the highest quality final mix, even when using ingredients with very different mechanical properties, such as peat, soil, sand, bark, fertilizers, vermiculite, perlite, clay, water, etc. The Urbinati MC1120 mixer is equipped with a timer-programmable irrigation system, which guarantees proper hydration of the mixture. In a few minutes, we get an evenly mixed substrate, which can be transported to the next machine, such as a potting machine, using an unloading conveyor with sensors for the level of the unloaded substrate.
The use of automated machines for the preparation of the mixture results in significant time savings, and thus a reduction in production costs.
