This machine is used for automatic shredding of big bales with compressed substrate. CARBB shredder allows to obtain homogeneous substrate ready for use.
The standard version, the VBB 2400, can shred a big-bale of 1200x1200x2400 mm.
The machine also comes in versions – VBB2600 and VBB2900, which handle big bales with the following dimensions 1200x1200x2600mm (VBB2600) and 1200x1200x2900mm (VBB2900).
The shredding system consists of steel beams with teeth that operate horizontally with respect to the big-bale’s lifting direction. The lifting speed of the big-bale and the processing speed of the shredding beams are controlled by an inverter. The CARBB shredder is equipped with a photocell that automatically controls the ground level, with an audible signal notifying the operator when the big-bale is low. The shredder can be set up to feed a potter, mixer or multiplier filler. Among other things, it can be equipped with an irrigation system, a dispenser for granular and microgranular fertilizers, vermiculite and others, as well as a conveyor belt to automatically feed two tanks simultaneously. It also allows the remaining, unused portion of the big-bale to be stored directly inside, ensuring that the proper moisture level is maintained.
