Juta

Jute is a plant-based, 100% biodegradable material. We offer different types of jute with different weights and sizes. Jute is used in horticulture, construction and commerce as a decorative element. In nurseries, it is most often used as a plant protection and mulching element, while in construction it is used to reinforce slopes, embankments, etc.

JUTE CHUSTS

In horticulture, jute (loose weave forms a fabric with a mesh of about 0.5 x 0.5 cm) is most often used, available in the form of ready-cut scarves ( two edges should be hemmed which prevents the fibers from spreading). In this form, they are used to wrap the root ball to prevent soil from settling (increasingly in combination with wire mesh for balking) which allows safe transport and increases the likelihood of acceptance.

The size of the sling is selected according to the size of the plant, or rather, the planned size of the root ball. The sling should be of such size that it gives us the opportunity to tie it freely at the trunk of the dug-out plant.

JUTE FABRIC

Jute fabrics wound on rolls are mainly used in the nursery industry to protect the root balls of plants dug from the ground. They have reinforced edges and an aligned weave so they make tying easier and protect root balls from damage. We offer a large selection of available widths, and you can cut the rolled fabric to the length that suits you.

SUNTEC

Jute of 175 g/m2 in the form of narrow 15 centimeter strips wound on 25 meter rolls. It is used to wrap tree trunks to protect them from possible damage during handling or transportation. Wrapping the trunks also aims to reduce water evaporation through the young bark after transplanting the plants ? usually in the case of deciduous trees. It is quite loosely woven. It should always come with two edges hemmed which allows us to do the job carefully. For large and expensive trees, proper protection can have a big impact on the price of the plant.
