Calcium is an essential element for plant development and plays a fundamental role in growth and yield. Changes in plant tissues caused by calcium deficiency facilitate pathogen attack and lead to a decrease in yields. Symptoms of calcium deficiency are more easily observed in acidic soils, but also in conditions of root hypoxia, such as in soils with a high sodium content, where the lack of oxygen in the compacted subsoil does not promote the development of trichomes. In this regard, we would like to remind you that in addition to the use of CALCIO MAX, the regular application of KEN® is able to significantly and quickly support the absorption of calcium in critical situations in plants in full production.
CALCIO MAX ensures adequate assimilation of calcium at the stage of strong vegetative development, before flowering and in the early stages of fruit development, when the number of cells that will participate in the formation of the fruit is determined, which determines its final size.
Application:
Apply only foliarly in a slightly acidified solution. Add the product to a container filled with water and mix thoroughly.
Dosage:
- Seedling production: 100-200 g/100 l, even repeatedly, as needed
- Ornamental plants: 50-300 g/100 l, depending on the condition of the crop
- Cut flowers: 1-2 kg/ha, depending on the condition of the crop
- Vegetables, herbs and fruits under covers: 100-200 g/100 l
- Field crops: 0.5-3 kg/ha from emergence or planting
- Orchards and vineyards: 0.5-2 kg/ha from first leaves to flowering
