A live microorganism-containing crop aid approved for use on organic crops in the EU

The PGPR bacteria contained in the BAS formulation play important roles in the soil ecosystem. They produce compounds that inhibit soil pathogens, convert insoluble forms of phosphorus into plant-available forms, and produce hormones such as auxins and cytokinins that stimulate root development. When administered foliarly, they occupy the leaf surface, blocking the pathogens’ ability to grow.

Seed application is also possible, allowing PGPR bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi to colonize the developing root system, creating competition with other organisms that threaten the plant and significantly increasing the root range and availability of water and nutrients for the plant.

Application:

In the preparation we provide microorganisms in their spore forms, This allows safe storage without loss of quality. To stimulate the microorganisms, before application, dilute the contents of the bottle in water and mix with CARBOGEN L and then let stand for 12-24 h . This activation will allow the microorganisms to realize their full potential, allow them to start working immediately in the soil or on the plant and ensure longer activity.

BAS should not be combined with chemical preparations.

It can be used at the same time with other mycorrhizal preparations, but in this situation the activation itself should be carried out in separate containers.

Dosage:

• sowing substrate 50-100 ml /m3 of substrate
• crops under covers 200 ml /1000 m2
• field crops 1-2 L/ha
• trees, rootstocks and potted plants- soaking roots before planting 1 L/ 100 L water

Required conditions for the growth of microorganisms contained in the preparation:

• pH 4,0-9,0
• minimum temperature 5 ℃
• optimum temperature 20-30 ℃
• maximum temperature 40 ℃
