The Urbinati RC65 multiplatform filler is a compact machine that uses the best solutions to ensure the highest quality and alignment of filled multiplats. It is a device that can work as a stand-alone unit but is ideal for building various types of production lines, even those with high capacity. It will work great wherever you need a machine with the best performance but small dimensions. Like other models, this filler also consists of 3 basic modules – the substrate tray, the elevator and the backfilling module. The substrate reservoir is analogous to that of the RE14 filler base. It has a capacity of about 700 liters with optional expansion up to 1,000 l. At the bottom of the hopper is a belt, equipped with an adjustable feed speed, which transports the substrate found under the automatic substrate elevator. The design of the elevator was based on a system of chains, with special shovels attached to them, which transport the substrate from the hopper to the hopper. As with other models, it also features a system that protects the elevator from breaking, while also giving you the ability to adjust the tension of the chains. The substrate transferred through the elevator goes into the hopper, which features many of the solutions known from the most advanced models such as the RN12 or RT12. First of all, the hopper is a kind of substrate buffer, equipped with electrodes that control the level of the substrate that is in it. When the set level is exceeded, the electrodes stop the elevator, and when the level is lowered, they restart the elevator. With this solution, there is no option for compaction and “suspension” of the substrate above the backfill compactor. The backfilling system is based on a compactor, which is a horizontally laid roller with 4 shovels that trowel the ground. By using such a solution, we have full control over the degree of filling and compaction of the substrate in the multiplats. This system also ensures alignment between the different multiplats so they will all be filled in the same way. Multiplates are transported under the backfill unit using a conveyor belt with electronic speed control. At the outlet of the device there is a cleaning brush that scrapes excess peat from the surface of the multiplat and it goes into the tray. The filler is equipped with infinitely variable speed control, so that the speed of operation can be adjusted as needed. In addition, the machine features an easy width adjustment system that makes it easy to position the multiplats centrally under the substrate backfill and allows the machine to be adjusted smoothly and quickly to another type of multiplat. Of course, we also have a central height adjustment, so we can easily and quickly adjust the position of the backfill unit above the multiplier and adjust it to the height of the multiplier, and we can also independently adjust the position of the compactor, which affects the degree of compaction of the ground. This device can be equipped with a number of additional options among others. various types of automatic multiplier feeders, which significantly improve the work and affect its efficiency.
