The IM2800 is great for filling large pots and planting plants at the same time. It is perfect for planting plants with an exposed root system(so-called bare root) as well as for transplanting plants from large pots to larger containers.
It has a large-capacity tank of as much as 1,600 liters with optional expansion up to 1,800 liters. The vibrating table ensures even filling and compaction of the substrate in the pots, and the vibration avoids the formation of the so-called “pots”. air pockets inside the filled pot. In addition, the vibrating table is part of an automatic system for recirculating excess material that will not be poured into the pot. Thanks to its large size, the machine offers the possibility of faster work through faster feeding of the substrate and the possibility of using pots up to 350 mm high.
The speed of the conveyor belt at the bottom of the tank is adjustable. The ground outlet has an adjustable slope and can be single or double. The IM2800 with a single outlet can be optionally equipped with a long trough for the ground and a turntable, which is a separate unit. In this way, very large pots can be filled directly on the ground.
